How Could MECS Mentoring Work
The most important thing about professional development is putting it into practice. Sometimes that doesn’t happen because it is not a priority once Educators return to the business of their day-to-day work.
Good managers circle back and check that new strategies are being implemented. They celebrate success, share quality practice, and offer support, as necessary. Sometimes Education Leaders need support too. MECS can mentor Educational Leaders or Lead Educators, so they have ideas, tools, and resources to circle back on professional development.
Mentoring could be in a short face to face follow up on site, via on-line platforms or via email. Whatever works!
Mentoring could be once only, or once a month for a couple of months. We offer subscription and casual mentoring so you can see what really works for you centre.
